Q1: How long does it take to send money from Australia to Bangladesh ?
Local Bank Deposit: Between 2-4 days
Cash Over Counter: 1-2 hours if paid by POLi. Takes 1 day if paid by manual bank transfer

Q2: How long does it take to send money from Australia to India ?
TT to Bank A/C or Foreign Remittance: Between 1-3 days.
Q3: Can I pickup Cash in India ?
Not at the moment.
Q4: What other countries you can transfer money to ?
USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Hong kong, New Zealand and all the EURO countries. To a bank A/C only.
Q5: What information of the receiver I will need for a Local Bank Deposit or TT to Bank A/C ?
For Bangladesh, you will need the receiver's full name, address, telephone number, bank A/C holder's name, bank A/C number, branch name and bank name. YOU DO NOT NEED SWIFT CODE TO TRANSFER TO BANGLADESH.
For India, you will need the receiver's full name, address, telephone number, bank A/C holder's name, bank A/C number, bank's IFSC code. YOU DO NOT NEED SWIFT CODE TO TRANSFER TO INDIA.
For all other countries, you will need the receiver's full name, address, telephone number, bank A/C holder's name, bank A/C number, bank's Swift code. In order to transfer to UK, you will also need Sort Code and for USA and Canada you will need the bank's Routing number.
Q6: Is Cash Over Counter service available for all countries ?
No, Cash Over Counter service is only available for Bangladesh at the moment. You will need the receiver's full name as per his / her Voter ID or Passport. The name must exactly match with the ID. You will also need the receiver's correct mobile number.
Q7: Where will the receiver collect money from in Cash Over Counter Service ?
The receiver can collect money from any branch of Uttara Bank in Bangladesh.
Q8: How will I pay World Cards for my money transfer order ?
Bank Transfer using POLi Payment System
Bank Transfer using POLi is same as your normal NetBank transfer, but powered by POLi Payment System (A Business of Australia Post) which allows you to use internet banking and securely pay for your order from your bank A/C to our bank A/C. POLi Payment system will instantly let us know whether your internet transfer for that order has been successful or not. Based on that we would be able to approve your order immediately.
You do not need to have a POLi Account and there are no extra fees or charges applicable for this payment method.

Q8: How will I know about the status of my money transfer order ?
As soon as you submit the money transfer order in World Cards, you will receive an email with all the details of the order. You can also view the same order details by going to Past Purchases link when you login to your World Cards account.
As soon as we start processing your order, you will receive a SMS with confirmation or PIN number. Then, once the order is completed by us, you will receive another confirmation email and SMS.
Q9: How does Local Bank Deposit work ?
Money transfer orders sent as Local Bank Deposit, can not be regarded as foreign remittance transfer. In order to offer you the best possible rate, our agents will deposit cash or cheque in the receiver's bank account.
Q10: Is POLi Payment System secure ?
POLi payment system is owned by Australia Post and used by a lot of E-Commerce sites in Australia and New Zealand including Qantas, Air New Zealand, World Remit.
